Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our fair and transparent policy on project cancellations, refunds, and disputes.
Our commitment: We believe in fair, transparent dealings. If we have not started work on your project, you will receive a full refund. If work is in progress, we will refund a fair proportion based on the stage of completion.
1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all civil engineering services provided by Civil At Hand – Design & Consultancy. We are committed to client satisfaction and have designed this policy to be fair to both parties.
All refund requests must be made in writing via email to civilathand.work@gmail.com or via WhatsApp message to +91 870-852-4647.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your project at any time by notifying us in writing. The refund you receive will depend on the stage at which the cancellation is made (see Section 4).
Civil At Hand reserves the right to cancel a project if:
- The client fails to provide required information after 14 days of repeated requests
- The client fails to make agreed payments within 7 days of the due date
- The project scope is found to be technically unfeasible or outside our expertise
- The project involves activities that violate applicable laws or regulations
In the case of cancellation by Civil At Hand for the above reasons (other than non-payment), a pro-rata refund of advance paid will be issued.
3. Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a refund if:
- You cancel before work has commenced (full refund)
- Work has begun but final deliverables have not been shared (partial refund)
- The delivered work has significant errors attributable to our mistake (correction or partial refund)
- We are unable to deliver within a mutually agreed extended deadline (full refund)
You are not eligible for a refund if:
- Final deliverables have been shared and accepted (including implicit acceptance after 7 days without objection)
- The dissatisfaction arises from changes to the project brief after work commenced
- You provided inaccurate measurements or information that affected the final output
4. Refund Schedule

| Work started — 50% to 75% complete | 25% of advance paid |
| Work started — more than 75% complete | No refund on advance |
| After final deliverables shared | No refund |
Percentage completion is assessed by Civil At Hand and communicated transparently to the client at the time of cancellation request.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Fees for completed and delivered work (including partial deliverables)
- Express/rush charges paid for expedited turnaround
- Revision fees charged for additional rounds beyond the included scope
- Any government fees, third-party software costs, or print charges incurred on your behalf
6. Refund Process
Once a refund is approved:
- We will confirm the refund amount in writing
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method (UPI or bank account)
- Processing time: 5–10 business days from approval
- Bank transfer refunds may require you to provide your account details
7. Disputes
If you believe you are entitled to a refund but your request has been denied, please write to us at civilathand.work@gmail.com with details of your concern. We will review all disputes within 7 business days and aim for an amicable resolution.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Punjab, India.
